Kevin D. Lindblom    CLU®ChFC® 

Kevin is Co-Founder of Your Vision Financial Group.

Kevin excels at understanding the complex products in his profession. He is passionate about creating Comprehensive Financial Solutions for his clients overall needs.

As a Financial Advisor with Eagle Strategies LLC and a 20 year Agent of the New York Life Insurance Company, Kevin is able to take a comprehensive approach to helping his clients address their financial needs today, tomorrow and well into the future. 

Kevin has achieved Lifetime Qualifying Member of the Million Dollar Round Table*. In 2015, Kevin was named one of NAIFA Iowa's Top 4 agents under 40 years old. Kevin was elected and served as a member of the 2012 New York Life Agents Advisory Council

Kevin is Past President and Past National Board Member of The Society of Financial Professionals, Cedar Rapids Iowa Chapter. 

Kevin and his wife, Erika, were married in 2000 and have 2 daughters. As a family they enjoy church, sporting events, board games and movie nights.


Scott W. Shaw                      MBA CLU® ChFC®

Scott is Partner of Your Vision Financial Group. He is a graduate of Simpson College and started his career in the Financial Services Industry in 2003.

Scott enjoys getting to know his clients and understanding their specific financial goals. Scott spends the majority of his time working in the areas of Insurance Planning, Retirement Planning and Estate Planning. Scott works with clients of all ages to design Comprehensive Financial Solutions. Scott believes it is his role to ensure his clients understand and have confidence in their Financial Plan.

 As a Financial Advisor with Eagle Strategies LLC, a Registered Investment Adviser, Scott can provide his clients with a customized plan to help address concerns and achieve financial objectives.

Scott was elected and served as a member of the 2015 New York Life Agents Advisory Council (AAC).

Over the course of his career, Scott has earned numerous Industry Awards including Lifetime Qualifying Member of the Million Dollar Round Table* and 2015 Agent of the Year by New York Life's Cedar Rapids General Office.

Scott and his wife, Tracy, were married in 2000 and have 4 sons. Scott enjoys handball and hunting. As a family, they enjoy church, traveling, and attending all the boys activities.


 Gene C. Pilcher         Associate Financial Advisor 

Gene is a Graduate of the University of Northern Iowa. He is a previous New York Life Agent and earned several sales achievement awards during his time in the Cedar Rapids General Office including; New Org Life Case Rate Leader (2011), Career Life Success Award (2011), and Career Life Producer Award (2011). 

Gene joined Your Vision Financial in 2017, where he is currently acting as Office Manager/Associate Financial Advisor. In addition to servicing clients and managing the office, he helps Scott & Kevin with the construction of financial plans. The part of his job he enjoys most is the challenge of helping create customized plans to address concerns and achieve our clients’ financial objectives.

Gene and his wife Beth were married in 2011 and have 3 children. They enjoy spending time together as a family, watching sports, and hunting.


Beth Pilcher              Director of Client Services


Beth Pilcher is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in Marketing and Public Relations. Prior to joining Your Vision Financial Group, Beth spent nine years working with the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), working closely with insurance agents and financial advisors who were members of the association.

Beth joined Your Vision Financial Group in 2019. As Director of Client Services, Beth manages client service and business processing for the team. She most enjoys meeting people and providing excellent customer service to all of our clients.

Beth was married to Gene in 2011 and they have three children.
